Delete your Ankurun account

In the app
- Open Ankurun and sign in.
- Go to Profile, then Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
You can also deactivate your account there instead. That hides your profile until you sign in again.
Without the app
Email support@ankurun.com from the address you sign in with, asking us to delete your account. We confirm by email and delete it within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your profile, profile photo, friend list, friend requests, blocks and settings.
- Your posts, comments, reactions, ratings and your photos and videos on bonds.
- Saved lives (replays) you were in, and any live you are in is ended.
- Unused credits for paid services and access to subscriptions. A record of each purchase, without your account, is kept so it can't be claimed again. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription with the app store; cancel it in your app store account settings.
- Your sign-in account and device push tokens.
What is kept, and for how long
- Bonds you shared with other people stay for them, with your name shown as "Former member".
- Reports about safety or abuse, and records we must keep by law, are kept for up to 2 years.
- Backups are overwritten within 30 days.
